So I've had a sweater for a loooooong time, like maybe over one year. It was way too big. The sleeves fit me wierd and it was very wide on me. I am petite, 5'2, and this was definitely meant for someone taller. I loved the colors because it could go with anything, any colors or patterns. I realized I should take the sleeves up and in and take the sides in a bit and it probably would fit.
To take the sleeves up measure where you want the bottom of the sleeve to hit. Keep in mind that you need to compensate for the hem of the sleeve. You will fold it down after you sew. It's kind of confusing now, but you'll see what I mean in the end. You fold the sleeve up pin all the way around where the prior stitching is.
