I love jeans. There are so many different washes, colors, cuts and I have outgrown my "old jeans" due to a growing belly. I had to go out and buy some in the meantime jeans. The problem is that jeans are always too long for me. I am only 5'3 on a good day and they are always a few inches too long. I used to hem them myself, but I'd never be able to match the thread or width of the original hem. It always looked off. I went on you tube about one year ago and found a way to keep THE ORIGINAL HEM! Wow! It's super easy and now I can keep the jeans looking normal while they fit!
Hope this all makes sense. If you try this and have questions please email me or leave it in the comment section. I looked online and to do an original hem alteration with a seamstress it costs $20+. This is a great way to save money and make your jeans look fabulous! Happy sewing!
