I think because Amelia was born one week before mothers day and my mom was in town I have really realized how much a mom can impact you. Not just when you are a newborn and a small child but when you are grown as well. My mom used to read I'll Love You Forever by Robert Munsch (you can find it here ) to me and my siblings and she would cry literally every time. Now that I have two little ones I understand why. Throughout the book it always has a verse "I'll love you forever I'll like you for always as long as I'm living my baby you'll be." At the very end it changes because the child is talking to the mother and in return they say "I'll love you forever I'll like you for always as long as I'm living my mommy you'll be." My mom has helped me throughout my life and I am so happy she was able to be with me and see her granddaughter being born and spend time with my family during the start of a new chapter in my life. I love you mom! Happy Mothers Day!
