I love the little turbans that are made for kids now. I think they are so cute. I do not love the price. While browsing on Etsy I found some adorable ones, but with shipping it'd cost well over $10. I looked at some DIY ones and realized I could make it for free. This is a win win. It's super super easy and you could do this for yourself or your little one. So here is how I did it.
First you need an old t shirt. Yes there are holes in the armpit and yes I just wore this and realized I needed to retire it.
Cut off the hem.
Cut about 5 inches off.
Lay it out and make an 8 sideways. The side seams should be on the sides.
Twist it again.
Take one side and move it to the other.
Pick both sides up.
The side seams should be touching.
And you're done. Seriously you're done. That is the opposite side from where the side seams are.
The seams are at the back of the turban so you don't notice them.
And here it is!
I think it turned out super cute....
And, well, the model helps out with that cuteness too!
