I found these Aztec pajama pants for a steal. At only $1 I bought them and decided I should try to make them into leggings. (Comfy cozy leggings because they are fleece) I think they turned out great and I love them!
The pajamas were wide and very long so I used a pair of jeans that fit the way I wanted the leggings to and laid them on top of the pajamas on the floor.
I pinned them following the width of the jeans and then tried them on and made adjustments where I needed and then they were ready to sew.
I cut along the seam and cut about 2-3 inches off the bottom. I didn't need to hem the pajamas because they are fleece so the material won't unravel.
And that's it! So easy and simple to do. You can do this with any wide legged pants or jeans to make them skinny! I did a pair of jeans awhile ago and you can see the tutorial here.
I think these are super cute and perfect for the wintertime! I paired my new leggings with flat black boots, a gray t shirt and black leather jacket. These Aztec leggings are fun to wear and now I just to wait for a cold day to wear them!
