We had so much fun on our trip to Washington! It was a shorter time for me this time around because I am a little terrified of watching two kids on a 6 hour flight. For now I have to make sure that the hubs and I fly both ways together. One day when my kids are older it'll be easier right? Right? Fingers crossed one day we won't have to pack 8 bags. A stroller. And car seats. And carry all that plus coffee and the kids (because of course they don't want to be in the stroller) with four hands.

I love that my kids get to know their Geegee and Bapa! (great grandma and great grandpa) It's so rare in life to be able to have ones grandparents know their great grandchildren. I am so very blessed and grateful that they are able to meet and have a relationship with both of my girls. I unfortunately didn't get a picture of the girls with my other grandma and I am so sad about it. She is such a wonderful woman. I am so thankful for such great role models for my little ladies. 

My dad had a milestone birthday-nope he's not 21, but close to it :)  It was fun to be there to celebrate and spend time with my whole family! We did a camping theme since our family is very outdoorsy. We used a tarp for a table cloth and just brought in branches, pine cones and our camping gear. It was a lot of fun and hopefully we can start having more themed parties as a family!

For dessert we made s'mores and roasted marshmellows at the fire pit. 

We actually didn't get out too much this time. It was nice relaxing at my parents and just hanging out with my family!

My girls just love their Auntie! Sophia let my sister braid her hair and KEPT IT IN. ALL.Day! Sophia never lets anyone put her hair up or do anything with it. I've tried to say I can braid her hair like Auntie Kate did and she will not have it. 

I love cold weather to see babies in hats. It just makes me smile!

We spent a lot of time outside. It was cold but absolutely beautiful weather. Sophia loved playing frisbee in the field across the street and she would love to run and throw it! She is actually really good and started being able to catch it! 

And Amelia and Sophia bonded with the Uncles.

We managed to get in a date night. Drinks, a movie and red lipstick do not happen a lot in Florida so we took advantage and had a fun time just the two of us for an evening!

We had such a wonderful time back home! Can't wait to go back and see everyone again!

A loss. Watching the Superbowl last night was so emotional. What a game. All I can say is I know we'll go back again and I love my team! Go Hawks!
