I am not a planner girl. Those little black books kind of stress me out and I feel like I have to put writing in each little square, which in turn means I'm doing some random thing everyday. Or I don't do it and the list gets jammed up with tons of stuff I should have done. And then usually the girls decide it's a coloring book. I threw mine out after only a few weeks.
Go to the splash pad
Visit a Farmers Market
Go on a hike. In the mountain
Camp (whether it's the backyard or a camp ground. Just do it)
Make homemade Ice Cream
Take a trip to see my grandparents
Go to a lake to fish
Cook pizza on the BBQ
Go on a date (for me and the hubs)
Go to Seattle for the day
Buy fresh flowers for the house at a Farmers Market
Tie Dye shirts with the girls
Have a Summer party
Go out with my girlfriends
Make an apple pie
Buy and re-make a dresser (for our room)
Take better pictures
Eat popsiscles with the girls right before bedtime :)
Kind of a long list, but I have a few months to do it and some of the stuff is specifically for me to do.
Last year I took a picture of the girls each week for their first Summer together. I've been trying to think of what I can do to document our first Summer in the Northwest. It took me awhile, but I decided this year after we accomplish our Summer Bucket List I want to make a little photo book of everything we did! Which means I have to take pictures of the things we do BUT it helps me accomplish the taking better quality pictures on my List.
What do you do to keep track of what you want to accomplish? Are you a list maker or calendar/black book holder? I love hearing your comments!
