This is a longer cardi and since I'm 5'2 ish it's more of a duster, which I love. It has two pockets that are pretty strong and can hold a phone and keys in without puckering or look like they're coming off. The knit is really soft and the blush is the lightest shade of pink. Since pink is THE color to wear for spring this one will be rotating weekly in my closet through the spring time. It's already been worn a ton of times since I got it from Rosegal. This cardi pairs really well with flare jeans and dresses as well. (like I said before I have worn it literally everyday!) Right now there are a ton of Rosegal valentines gifts on sale so be sure to check them out!
This week has been a little crazy. I don't share too much on here besides outfits, family stuff and happy things, but i figure why not go all out maybe someone is going through it now.
So last Thursday my right breast started hurting in a specific spot. It felt sore and when I pushed in a certain spot it hurt. Well the following day I noticed a lump. I called the Dr and got an appt for Monday. The pain went down significantly but the lump was still there. On Monday the Dr said he definitely felt the pea size lump that I was describing. He said it felt like fatty tissue a few times and checked my lymph nodes in my armpit and said they were fine. He decided to wait a bit and I totally understood, but when I started talking about how I've never felt any lumps there before he said ya know let's just get it done. Peace of mind for all of us and we won't ever have questions about it.
I called the imaging place immediately and got an appointment on Wednesday. Only one day waiting period for the mammogram and ultrasound. On Wednesday once I got there each person I saw felt the pea sized lump which in turn got me MORE anxious. I mean if something isn't there or if they can't feel what I am it it just makes it easier to think about. After the tests they determined it's a breast node. Completely normal and they said I'll probably be getting more of them because of my age. Great. Thank you 30s. Getting older has it's perks right?
In all seriousness I am glad I went in because I found a lump that had not been there before. I am so so glad that it was determined to be normal as well. I know it's a low percentage of younger people getting breast cancer but it does happen. I feel I did everything right to make sure what it was.
So just a little tidbit of advice from me to you is remember each month to do your exams AND go in if you ever feel anything different!
Hope you all enjoy your weekend!
