Okay for starters I am always going to give an honest review of a product. Because of that I have to tell you that this dress fits very large. I ordered the size small after reading the sizing chart, however this item ended up being a one size fits all and definitely was a large/xlarge size or more of a plus size. Because it was so big I couldn't wear it whatsoever. I decided to try to figure out how to fix it myself and in the end it totally worked! I gathered the fabric in the back and sewed three buttons one inch or so apart. (you can see it in a few pictures) It literally took about 10 inches off the sides making it more slender and fitting me perfectly.
Besides the fit of this dress the knit is really thick and feels really expensive. I love the large pockets on the front, I mean everything is better with pockets right? The length hits me right at the perfect spot. I can still feel comfortable and not have to worry about bending over.
I used a white t shirt to layer this but I think a white button up would make this jumper a chic look for work!
All in all I am happy that I was able to fix this with a quick DIY and definitely loving the heavier knit. Getting it tailored would be a must on this one if you have a smaller frame.
Hope you all are enjoying your week! We are on spring break over here and I'm just trying to find things to do that can occupy the girls. My hubs has a few days off so here's to some help!
