First off it was/is absolutely freezing when I was taking these pictures, but I didn't want to cover up this dress with a coat in my pictures because it is seriously gorgeous. The main fabric is a thick scuba fabric. It is heavy and feels soft and luxurious. The embroidery is done so well and makes a big impact with the lace around the shoulders and top of the dress. I thiknk it gives a different and unique look with all the textures. And the shape of this dress just makes it super fun! I am short so this is a mini dress on me, pairing it with leather leggings or a pencil skirt would add length and prevent any peek a boo accidents. A huge thank you to Rose Gal for this gorgeous dress for the Holidays!
I wanted to share a quick few things about getting Holiday ready. There's so many guides and ideas out there that are really fabulous, but these are the ones that work for me!
1. Hair. I always try and do something fun with my hair other than my everyday waves. Adding a little bun, a braid or some fun twists and clips can change up a look and it doesn't cost anything!
2. Make Up. I love a red lip like everyone does in the Winter, but I also like throwing some different shades in my repitore as well. Dark brown, light pink and lavender all get worn in the Winter and add an unexpected look!
3. Accessories. Whether it's a dress, skirt or pants I like adding in something to make it fun! Bringing in a bright bold bag or shoes, a large statment necklace or just mixing up colors is always fun! I am enjoying tights a lot this year (I have to wear them because of the temps) so I'm working on adding some fun patterned tights to my collection!
This is a super long post so if you stayed to the end congrats! Haha! Hope you all have a fabulous week getting Christmas ready!
