Okay you can definitely tell this is a PJ top hence the pocket and lining right? The silky fabric is also a giveaway. Trying to style this i realized a few things on how to make this look more like a blouse and less like I wore it to bed....
Pants. The main thing when styling this type of top is giving it a chic look. This top is normally paired with matching wide leg pants so wearing this with any baggy pants would a no no in my book. Flares could work as long as the the fit through the thigh is slim.
Tuck in or tie. This is mainly because a pajama top is worn un tucked, I mean you're wearing it for bed so the comfier the better. If you're wanting to create a look that you can wear outside your house (without looking like you rolled out of bed) tucking it in instantly elevates the look. I loved the knot option as this "blouse" was a little longer on me. The knot highlights the smallest part of your waist so this works for many body types and shapes.
Accessories. Here is where real life meets blogging. I totally wanted to wear a pair of faux diamond earring studs and a cute little watch or bracelet. I was hurrying out the door and left them sitting on the counter. #momlife #runninglate After looking at the pictures I think it looks fine, but a little bling never hurt anyone and I do think this would have added to the whole look.
So, here's the question, would you try this trend? Have you tried it? Anything I missed for styling? I'd love to hear what you think about this trend so leave me a comment!
