So I made a little art gallery for Sophia in one of our houses we lived in. (I am in my fourth house in two years). She loves painting, drawing and coloring so I was hanging her art work up on the fridge. There were so many artistic pieces that I was showcasing that they would get caught in the opening and closing of the fridge door.. However my way out was trying to find the door handle. Ok maybe a little exaggerated but it was pretty bad. Magnets could not hold some of the pictures up because it was thick paper and they would slide all the way down to the bottom of the fridge. Eventually they would fall off and slide under the bottom of the fridge. Sophia would ask where her picture went and I would have to get out my gloves and try to excavate it out from all the cheerios, dust, toast and toys that gather in a pile under the fridge. The ones I didn't put up were getting piled high and gathering dust. I saw many ideas on pinterest on what you can do to showcase your childs art work, but I wanted something easy and cheap. I finally found this great idea and decided to try it! I hand painted the Masterpieces right on the wall and used a piece of scrap wood that I painted black and hot glued clothes pins on it. I absolutely love it and have gotten so many compliments on it! I decided to also showcase one specific picture (what I think is the mac daddy of her art work) by using a black picture frame and matte that I can change out whenever I want! So easy to do and a great way to display your childs art work! No more sticking your hand under your fridge trying to find art work and coming up with a pile of hair, crumbs and something that looks like raisins! Anyways hope y'all have a great Monday!
